Later, from 1898 to 1917, it belonged to architect Aleksandr Ivanov, the renowned designer of the National Hotel. After the revolution, the development remained residential. In the post-Soviet period, it became home to the State Republican Center of Russian Folklore. In 2016, the center was merged with the house of folk art of the artist Vasiliy D. Polenov. Today, the mansion is recognized as a cultural heritage site of regional significance.
