In 1868, the residential house was built on Lefortovskiy Lane for merchant Ivan Zubov, owner of a factory producing scarves and sashes. Zubov did not live in the house himself and leased the premises from the very beginning. As early as the 19th century, the building was divided into apartments rented by representatives of various social groups, including small shopkeepers, manufactory workers, kitchen staff, and drafting students. Among the tenants was a drafting workshop where students worked. In 1883, the development underwent reconstruction while retaining its functional purpose. In 2013, the building was recognized as a cultural heritage site of regional significance. Today, the mansion is used for commercial purposes.
