A two-story mansion with a basement and an attic in Maly Karetny Pereulok in the Tverskoy district. The building is located near the house of Vladimir Vysotsky, the Moscow Nikulin Circus, the Hermitage Garden, the Moscow City Duma Park, the Sphere Theater and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. Tsvetnoy Bulvar metro station is a 4-minute walk away.
The Empire-style mansion was built in 1789 and is known as the 'Merchant Pirogov's Residential House' or 'The House with Shadows'. The building burned down in a fire in 1812. After reconstruction by 1865, the house was restored and added a staircase. In this historical appearance, the building has been preserved to this day.
At present, the former house of merchant Pirogov is recognized as a cultural heritage site. A complete reconstruction of the building with the replacement of floors was made in 2018. Inside there is a promiscuous planning, rooms with high ceilings have white-box finishing. On the fenced territory there is a ground parking for 7 cars.
The mansion is suitable for a rental business, a restaurant, a headqurter or a representative office of a company, as well as a medical center.
