A part of the two-story mansion with a basement is situated on Malaya Dmitrovka Street in the Tverskoy district. Built in 1817, the mansion is a cultural heritage property that has undergone several reconstructions. In 1893, architect Ivan Mashkov added the entrance section with a two-story volume and a low metal palisade fence. The facade is painted in a sea wave color and designed in a neoclassical style. It features clean column lines, minimal decorative elements, and symmetry. Inside, there is an office layout with office-style finishing. Engineering systems are installed, including electricity, heating, and water supply. The light lobby is elegantly decorated with moldings, columns, stucco, and a crystal chandelier. Thanks to numerous windows, the rooms receive plenty of natural light. The property boasts parking in the courtyard as well as public paid parking in front of the building. The mansion is suitable for a company's representative office, a medical center, or an office.

The mansion is located on the 1st line of Malaya Dmitrovka Street in the historic heart of Moscow. The surrounding area features well-developed infrastructure, including Hermitage Garden, Moscow Musical Theatre, Mossovet Theatre, and a wide selection of restaurants. Pushkinskaya and Chekhovskaya Metro Stations are a 7-minute walk away, while Mayakovskaya and Tverskaya Metro Stations can be reached in 8 minutes on foot. Red Square is a 5-minute drive away. The Garden and Third Ring Roads are 1 and 7 minutes' drive away each.

In 1817, the site of the current mansion was occupied by a wooden house. At that time, the building had a classical facade and was aligned along the street’s red line. Until the early 20th century, the mansion was used solely as a residential property. In the late 1860s, the development belonged to Karl Valts, a machinist for Moscow theaters and founder of a theatrical dynasty. In the early 1900s, it housed a zither school run by composer Franz Bauer. Later, it became the property of Ms. Elizaveta Pautynskaya. After the revolution, in the early 1920s, the building was leased to employees of the newspaper Izvestia VTSIK. In the following decade, it hosted the printing house of the Economic Gazette and later the editorial office of Krasnaya Zvezda. During the Battle of Moscow, the house served as an air-raid shelter. In October 1941, the mansion was damaged by an explosion wave and was fully restored in the post-war years.
