A five-storey mansion 'Palace on the Yauza' in the historical part of the city, near the Preobrazhenskaya embankment of the Yauza River. The building was built in 1947 — a theater and concert hall, a well-preserved example of the architecture of the Stalinist Empire. In the 1960s and 1970s, the famous Television Theater was located here and many popular TV shows were recorded, such as KVN and Blue Light. In 1980-2000, the premiere of Sergei Solovyov's cult film 'ASSA' took place and Viktor Tsoi, Boris Grebenshchikov, Pyotr Mamonov performed. Since 2008, it has been a theater and concert hall 'Palace on the Yauza'.
