Mansion on Zhuravlev Square 1

A five-storey mansion 'Palace on the Yauza' in the historical part of the city, near the Preobrazhenskaya embankment of the Yauza River. The building was built in 1947 — a theater and concert hall, a well-preserved example of the architecture of the Stalinist Empire. Now it is a universal platform suitable for hosting an event of any format. The layout includes a large hall with a height of more than 14 meters, a marble foyer, a central foyer and galleries, 3 small concert halls, a pillared hall, side foyers, a theater buffet. The size of the fenced yard area is 89 acres. Parking for 50 cars is planned, the entrance of vehicles to the decoration storage is provided for unloading the scenery directly behind the stage. The mansion is suitable for a house of culture, a theater or a gallery.

The building is located on the first line of houses. There is convenient access to the Preobrazhenskaya embankment. The Third Ring Road is a 10-minute drive away, while the Garden Ring Road can be reached within 16 minutes. The nearest metro station is Elektrozavodskaya, which is a 4-minute walk away. Semyonovskaya Metro Station can be reached within 14 minutes. The Southern Khapilovsky Square and Semyonovskiy Park are within walking distance.

In 1904, the Vvedensky People's House was erected on the site of the mansion. The troupe of the famous theatrical figure and philanthropist Bakhrushin performed on the Houses's stage. In 1947, the building was rebuilt in the monumental style of the Stalinist Empire by the architect Efimovich. In 1947-1959, the Mossovet Theater worked under the direction of Yuri Zavadsky here. Lyubov Orlova, Faina Ranevskaya, Vera Maretskaya, Rostislav Plyatt played on this stage. In the 1960s and 1970s, the famous Television Theater was located here and many popular TV shows were recorded, such as KVN and Blue Light. In 1980-2000, the premiere of Sergei Solovyov's cult film 'ASSA' took place and Viktor Tsoi, Boris Grebenshchikov, Pyotr Mamonov performed. Since 2008, it has been a theater and concert hall 'Palace on the Yauza'.
