In 1947, the building was rebuilt in the monumental style of the Stalinist Empire by the architect Efimovich. In 1947-1959, the Mossovet Theater worked under the direction of Yuri Zavadsky here. Lyubov Orlova, Faina Ranevskaya, Vera Maretskaya, Rostislav Plyatt played on this stage. In the 1960s and 1970s, the famous Television Theater was located here and many popular TV shows were recorded, such as KVN and Blue Light. In 1980-2000, the premiere of Sergei Solovyov's cult film 'ASSA' took place and Viktor Tsoi, Boris Grebenshchikov, Pyotr Mamonov performed. Since 2008, it has been a theater and concert hall 'Palace on the Yauza'.
