The mansion is located on a quiet street surrounded by embassies, historical estates and museums. The mansion was built at the dawn of the 19th century on the territory of the Princess Maria Petrovna Gagarina city estate. Until 1861 manor service buildings were located here, which maintained order in the vast territory between Bolshaya and Malaya Nikitsky streets. In 1861 the mansion ceased to be part of the city estate. Currently, it is not an architectural sample.
