The classic-style mansion was built in 1815 as an outbuilding of the Khovansky chambers. After the 17th century, Prince Ivan Andreevich Khovansky rebuilt a city estate on the site of the chambers. The facade of the eastern wing has preserved cornices and mouldings, the windows feature elegant brackets and architraves. The building is currently a cultural heritage site.
