The mansion was built in 1905 as a passenger terminal for a railway station. The unique design by architect Alexander Pomertsev and engineer Lavr Proskuryakov included passenger areas, service apartments, and a central signal control post. In this area, the railway ran on an elevated embankment, and an ornate iron bridge led from the station's fourth floor to a small platform, which has not survived to the present day. Currently, the mansion is recognized as a cultural heritage site.
