During their ownership, prominent princes and noblemen frequently visited, including the parents of the writer Leo Tolstoy. After the Revolution, the house was abandoned. In 2007, superficial restoration work was carried out, but the interior remained empty. Nowadays, active restoration work is underway on the estate’s territory.
