The mansion is recognized as a cultural heritage site as a vivid example of ancient Russian architecture in the 1st half of the 18th-early 19th centuries. The house housed the Chambers of Prince Shcherbatov in Nizhniye Sadovniki. The facade has a classicist decor, and elements in the patterned style of the late 17th century have been added from the ends. The old chambers, previously hidden behind the ordinary decoration of the 19th century, were discovered only during control measurements carried out in preparation for demolition.
