The mansion is located in the Khamovniki district, surrounded by galleries, museums, estates and embassies, next to the Tsereteli Museum and Exhibition Complex. Convenient access to Prechistenka and Ostozhenka, Boulevard and Garden Ring. The nearest metro station is Kropotkinskaya, which is an 8-minute walk away.
The Art Nouveau mansion was built in 1903 by architect Mikhail Petrov. The railway engineer Nikolai Tchaikovsky, brother of the composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky, lived in the house. The facade is decorated with elegant stucco and floral bas-relief, the balcony is complemented by wrought iron railings, and the terrace is decorated with a balustrade.
