A three-storey mansion with two underground levels on the Sofijskaya Embankment in the Yakimanka district. The building is located in the heart of Moscow near Red Square, the Kremlin, the Alexander Garden, Zaryadye Park, the Pushkin State Museum and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The nearest metro stations are Biblioteka Imeni Lenina, Borovitskaya and Arbatskaya, which are within a 15-minute walk.< p>The classic mansion is best known as The City Estate of Rakhmanov, Bukhvostov, Sulima, merchants Kotov or The Residential House of Gustav Liszt. The building is based on the chambers of the middle 18th century. Since that time, the building has been rebuilt several times, until in 1870 it was passed to the owner of the mechanical plant Gustav List. In 1880, the house acquired an exterior design that has survived to our days.
The mansion is a cultural heritage site. The reconstruction of the building for a residence began in 2015. The historic facade and interiors will be carefully restored.
